Why use a dedicated feedback board instead of just Discord or our forums?
Discord and forums are great for building community, but they're the wrong tools for collecting player feedback. Suggestions get buried, there's no voting to surface what matters most, and players have no visibility into whether their ideas were ever seen. A dedicated player feedback board keeps everything in one place with built-in voting, structured posts, and automatic notifications when requests are reviewed or their status changes.
Our Early Access launch gets thousands of messages. Can this actually handle that volume?
Yes, high-volume Early Access launches are exactly what it's designed for. Instead of thousands of unstructured messages scattered across Discord and Steam, player feedback lands in one board where players are shown similar suggestions before posting, helping prevent duplicates. Duplicate suggestions can be merged into a single thread, built-in voting highlights what's actually widespread versus a vocal minority, and bulk actions let you remove spam or update the status of multiple posts at once.
Our community can get pretty heated, how do we keep discussions civil?
Gaming communities can get heated quickly, and a single angry post can derail an entire discussion. Nolt gives you several layers of moderation. AI moderation scores every post on a 0–100 risk scale and can automatically reject, hold for review, or flag content based on thresholds you set. A profanity filter can either censor bad words or block submissions entirely. Players can report posts and comments directly, and repeat troublemakers can be shadow-banned. If you want full control before anything goes public, manual moderation sends every post and comment to a review queue before it's published.

The player feedback platform gaming studios trust

Nolt lets us see exactly what our players want most, fast. It also lets our players know that their Moonbreaker suggestions have been heard, and even when we decide not to take them. It leaves forums and other tools in the dust!

Charlie Cleveland
Unknown Worlds Entertainment

We used to have suggestions from our community all over the place, and it was hard to stay on top of it. But with Nolt, we now have this dedicated place for them that makes it super easy to see what the community wants most.

Richard Rampas
Volcanoids

It's great that our users are able to give us suggestions and feature requests. Nolt cuts down on our time spent on customer service because people see that we're already aware of certain requests. It also allows us to engage with our users in a new way.
